A quick easy read, simplistic but fun. The good guys are good, the bad guys are bad and the story never gets dull.
A good read for people who are in to the series recommend highly can't wait for the next one of the series a really enjoyable read but quick shaping up to be a enjoyable series must read the next one of the series
is meant to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace. If you are a thrills and chills lover the lack of action will annoy you. But if you like humorous episodes and quirky characters you will find this to be your cup of tea. And then there's the dog.
Saw this book on Robin Reads, and having enjoyed all of the Dev Haskell books by Mr Faricy was excited to read this. While the book has some interesting characters, I find their interactions and the overall plot lacking. Will wait for next Dev book, don't see me reading anymore of this series.
The Jack Dillon series is entertaining as are all of Mr. Emmett's (Faricy's) works. Be sure to read them in order as they build upon each other; Welcome, Sweet Dreams & Mirror Mirror.
I much prefer the Dev Haskell series and am totally jonesin' for another Corridor Man entry.
There isn't much here. I thought that what turned out to be the main storyline was just a preliminary, something to set up the main storyline. The idea behind the series, i.e., American cop manages to get stuck in Ireland, is ok, but this isn't that great a story. Not at all sure I'll follow any further.
I've started the first three books of this series , and a little ways into each one, I have deleted them. Despite my being a fan of mysteries and detective books, and being Orish, myself, this writer and character are just not my cup of tea.
